BEE BALM [Monarda]

Bee Balm or Wild Bergamot [Monarda] species include annual and perennial variety. Light purple, pink, and red blooms ranging from bluish lilac, pink, to dark red mahogany.

Often found near marsh [wetlands] plants prefer full sun and moist well-drained soil, plants growing in partial shade spread horizontally and produce fewer blooms.
